JOHN NEIL MCNICHOLAS

John McNicholas grew up in Los Angeles. After graduating from UCLA, Mr. McNicholas attended Santa Clara University School of Law where he was on Law Review. For over 35 years, John McNicholas has been practicing law. He was initially trained as a criminal prosecutor, before moving to the defense side where he has been for over 32 years. Mr. McNicholas spends the majority of his time in federal court, but also accepts state cases.

Since 1998, Mr. McNicholas has been on the federal indigent panels in California and Nevada. He also spends many hours serving on the Los Angeles County indigent bar panel. Mr. McNicholas has served as an arbitrator on State Bar matters, personal injury matters, and consumer matters. Mr. McNicholas is trained in electioneering laws in several states, having served as a war room representative and consultant for various political candidates in several elections.

John McNicholas has defended virtually every type of criminal case since his admission to the California State Bar in 1988. His ethical standard is beyond reproach. Achieving the best results possible continually motivates Mr. McNicholas to remain a respected leader in criminal defense.
